Lot #1 Saralee’s Hats and Wine Magnums Too!
Sonoma County icon Saralee McClelland Kunde was known for her exuberance, can-do spirit and the big, floppy garden hats that became her signature style. Sadly, Saralee left us in 2014 but her many contributions to Sonoma County agriculture keep her in our hearts. Saralee’s husband Richard has donated some of the last remaining hats from the Saralee Hat Collection for this auction, with the proceeds going to Saralee and Richard’s Barn and Agriculture Education Center at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. The hats were all worn by Saralee as she busily went about raising money for the fair, farm youth and agriculture during her remarkable life. Each of the hats will be paired with a magnum of vintage wine from the Richard Kunde Wine Cellar. Bid high and ask, “What Would Saralee Do?”.
