Bring your class to explore Sonoma County Agriculture at the Sonoma County Event Center at the Fairgrounds. See “Agriculture in Action” through interactive exhibits and demonstrations daily from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Kindergarten through 6th-grade students will have the opportunity to utilize their five senses to learn about the source of their food and fiber, visit with farm animals, and experience life on a farm. Students, teachers, and parents can talk with farmers and ranchers and learn how to work with the environment and natural resources to raise plants and animals.
Before Ag Days, students are encouraged to investigate agriculture and participate in academic and artistic contests focusing on the event theme. Contests are available for both K-6 and 7-12 grades, and both include various individual and class projects to choose from.
All student and class winners will be honored at their school’s assembly or classroom and parents are encouraged to attend.
