Bring your class to explore the role Sonoma County agriculture plays in their daily lives and community. See “Agriculture in Action” through interactive exhibits and demonstrations from 9 a.m. to Noon each day.
What will Students Experience with their Five Senses?
The journey of food from the farm to the table
Sources of their food and fiber
Farm animals and demonstrations of life on a farm
Conversations with local farmers and ranchers who grow and raise our food
How to work with the environment and natural resources to raise plants and animals
Students are also invited to investigate agriculture and participate in the academic and artistic contests offered.
Schools are encouraged to arrange field trips for either Tuesday, March 10th or Wednesday, March 11th.
Reservations are required and can be made online, or by faxing or mailing the School Registration and Contest Entry Form.
Field trip reservations are due no later than December 13th and each teacher is requested to register their individual class.
Farm Bureau will notify each teacher by email when their registration information has been received. Additional information including event schedule, location map, and transportation instructions will be sent after February 21, 2020. All adults will receive a wristband that will be required to enter the fairgrounds. Wristbands will be delivered to the school office prior to the event.
For Ag Days, Sonoma County Farm Bureau administers several agriculture-related contests for students grades K-6 and special education. To enter the contests, please deliver entries by February 7, 2020 to the Farm Bureau office with required entry information on each entry, found in contest rules on page 2 of the registration brochure.
Please join us as an exhibitor at Sonoma County Farm Bureau's 2020 Ag Days at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Your participation is important to the success of this exciting agricultural experience for school children. Last year, more than 5,000 students, teachers, and parents attended this interactive, educational event.

Volunteer assistance is also appreciated at the Ag Days Awards Dinner & Ceremony on the evening of March 11th when we will honor student and class winners of the Ag Days Contests.
Sonoma County Farm Bureau invites your business to become a sponsor for Sonoma County Ag Days. Ag Days educates nearly 5,000 elementary age children, teachers, and parents about the importance of agriculture and the value of local food production. Your sponsorship will assist with agricultural education promotion, agriculture literacy, classroom curriculum distribution and provide the venue for the event. Dinner Sponsor – $1,500 - As a dinner sponsor, your company will receive a full-color page ad in the Awards Dinner program. Farm Bureau will display your company banner at the dinner and you may elect to have a booth to promote your business. Your company name will be announced during the Awards Dinner and post-event, listed as a sponsor in the Sonoma-Marin Farm News publication.
Premium Sponsor – $1,000 - As a premium sponsor, Farm Bureau will display your company banner at the event and you may elect to have a booth to share in the educational experience. Post-event, your company name will be listed as a sponsor in the Sonoma-Marin Farm News publication. In addition, your company logo will be placed in the Awards Dinner program.
Award Sponsor – $500 - As an award sponsor, your company name will be announced during the Awards Dinner, listed in the program and post-event as a sponsor in the Sonoma-Marin Farm News publication.
Silver Sponsor – $250 - As a silver sponsor, Farm Bureau will display your company banner at the event. Post-event, your company name will be listed as a sponsor in the Sonoma-Marin Farm News publication. In addition, your company name will be placed in the Awards Dinner program.
All student and class contest winners will be honored at the Ag Days Awards Dinner & Ceremony to be held at the Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building: 1351 Maple Ave, Santa Rosa.
