Bring your class to explore Sonoma County agriculture at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa.
Students will have the opportunity to see “Agriculture in Action”, utilizing their five senses to learn more about the importance of “Water and Soil” in their daily lives, the source of their food and fiber, visit with farm animals and experience life on a farm. Students, teachers and parents can talk with farmers and ranchers and learn how to work with the environment and natural resources to raise plants and animals.

Schools are encouraged to arrange field trips for either Tuesday, March 13th or Wednesday, March 14th.
Reservations are required and can be made online, or by faxing or mailing the School Registration and Contest Entry Form. Please provide a fax number and email address on the registration form. Field trip reservations are due no later than February 23rd. Every class completing a registration form will be guaranteed a visit to Ag Days on the date selected. Farm Bureau will notify each teacher by fax or email when their registration form has been received. Additional information including schedule, map, parking and dropoff instructions will be sent after reservations close on February 23rd.
Each year, the Sonoma County Farm Bureau administers several agriculture related contests for students of all ages. To enter the contests, please return the form to the Farm Bureau with entries delivered by February 9, 2018.
Please join us as an exhibitor at Sonoma County Farm Bureau’s 2018 Ag Days at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Your participation is important to the success of this exciting agricultural experience for urban school children. Last year, more than 4,000 students, teachers and parents attended this interactive, educational event.
Please be our guest at the Ag Days Dinner and Awards Program and celebrate the creativity of student and class winners of the Ag Days Contests.
An event this size requires a village of volunteers and we invite you to join us on March 12th for set up activities and March 13th and/or 14th for the event.
Volunteer assistance is also appreciated at the Ag Days Dinner and Awards Program on the evening of March 13th in the Grace Pavilion when we will honor student and class winners of the Ag Days Contests.
Sonoma County Farm Bureau invites your business to become a sponsor for Sonoma County Ag Days. Ag Days educates nearly 5,000 elementary age children, teachers and parents about the importance of agriculture and the value of local food production. Your sponsorship will assist with agricultural education promotion, agriculture literacy, classroom curriculum distribution and provide the venue for the event. Dinner Sponsor – $1,500 - As a dinner sponsor, your company will receive a full color page ad in the Awards Dinner program. Farm Bureau will display your company banner at the dinner and you may elect to have a booth to promote your business. Your company name will be announced during the Awards Dinner and post event, listed as a sponsor in the Sonoma-Marin Farm News publication. Premium Sponsor – $1,000 - As a premium sponsor, Farm Bureau will display your company banner at the event and you may elect to have a booth to share in the educational experience. Post event, your company name will be listed as a sponsor in the Sonoma-Marin Farm News publication. In addition, your company logo will be placed in the Awards Dinner program.
Award Sponsor – $500 - As an award sponsor, your company name will be announced during the Awards Dinner, listed in the program and post event as a sponsor in the Sonoma-Marin Farm News publication. Silver Sponsor – $250 - As a silver sponsor, Farm Bureau will display your company banner at the event. Post event, your company name will be listed as a sponsor in the Sonoma-Marin Farm News publication. In addition, your company name will be placed in the Awards Dinner program.
All student and class contest winners will be honored at the Ag Days Dinner and Awards Program:
