Competitive Matching Grant Program provides funding to public agencies and nonprofits for the protection of open spaces within Sonoma County communities for local agriculture, community recreation, natural resource restoration, and public access. Please note that funding through the program can help support recovery efforts in fire-impacted communities through the restoration of habitats, acquisition and development of land for community open space, and other projects. Eligible projects that aid in rebuilding and recovery efforts in affected communities may be given preference.
