Sonoma County Farm Bureau is blessed to have many generous donors who contribute fantastic party packages for auction at The Great Sonoma Crab and Wine Fest and Love of the Land. Throughout the year, Farm Bureau staff works with the donors and buyers of these great items to ensure that the packages are a success and enjoyed by all.
Scott Manoff and the End of the Road Gang were treated to an evening exploring the galaxies with Wine Country Star Party while star gazing at the family owned Robert Young Estate Winery in the Alexander Valley. A summer picnic supper was provided by neighboring Jimtown Store.

Michael Wright of Wright Contracting and his group of party goers enjoyed a special night of Old West entertainment at the Sonoma County Fair rodeo. The evening started with a barbecue from Bubba’s BBQ and cocktails at the fairgrounds’ VIP Patio.  The group was then escorted to the Chris Beck Arena where Jeff Davis of Four Star Rodeo Co. took the group to a behind-the-scenes tour of the corrals and cowboys’ hangout.

Sunni Ashley and Vineyard Industry Products Co. enjoyed an evening of fun held at the Muelrath Pumpkin Farm in Santa Rosa. Guests took a hay ride in the moonlight, sat around a bonfire and visit the haunted dungeon where chills and thrills abound. A home-cooked autumnal dinner and lots of fine Sonoma County wine were served to the in-costume guests.

More than 75 agricultural supporters joined the Ibleto brothers, Art and Angelo, and vintners John and Terri Balletto, for a night of great food, fine wine, Italian music and lots of fun. Cold Stone Ice Cream was served alongside fantastic Italian themed desserts.

Kip and Marilyn Herzog and their guests enjoyed a made for TV Italian ravioli dinner prepared by Laurie Figone at the historic Crane Melon Barn in Santa Rosa. The old barn was originally used for horses and livestock but today it’s the place to get Crane melons produced by Rick and Cindy Crane and their daughter Jennifer Crane.

Laura Benward, Henry Beaumont and their party of beachcombers dined on oysters on the half shell, barbecued oysters and grilled beef from the Lunny Ranch, paired with Sparkling wines from Gloria Ferrer Caves in Sonoma, during a very special private tour at their Drakes Bay Oyster Farm in the Point Reyes National Seashore.

Chis Bowland of Bowland Vineyard Management and Sunni Ashley of Vineyard Industry Products Co., along with friends, family and coworkers, enjoyed a masterfully prepared 50 pound smoked pig delivered by Angelo Ibleto. The whole hog feast was paired with Carinalli Vineyards Pinot, making for a perfect party.

Terri Balletto and her party of Billy Currington fans enjoyed six front row center seats for Currington’s performance plus a meet and greet at the Sonoma County Fair.

American AgCredit and their guests enjoyed a fantastic dinner with the Martinelli Family at their historic Martinelli Winery on River Road in Windsor. The dinner was prepared by Zazu restaurant’s Duskie Estes and John Stewart, acclaimed Wine Country chefs.

All of these fantastic events and many more were made possible by generous donors who support Sonoma County Farm Bureau. If you would like to make a donation, please contact Steven Knudsen by phone at 707-544-5575 or email at for more information.
