Farm Bureau Hall of Fame The Late Al Gerhardt Al Gerhardt, a familiar fixture on the farm front for more than a half century, is being inducted into Sonoma County Farm Bureau‘s Hall of Fame. Gerhardt, who was 79, died Nov. 21, 2017 of a heart attack while on his way to a Farm Bureau meeting. The longtime Farm Bureau director is being honored posthumously for his many contributions to agriculture and his unwavering support for 4-H and FFA. Farm Family of the Year: DeBernardi Family Don and Bonnie DeBernardi have been raising and milking Holstein dairy cows since 1968 in the hills of Two Rock. In the late 90’s, two Nubian goats were purchased for their grandchildren, and before long turned into a small herd. Like his ancestors in the Swiss Alps, Don decided to turn the goat milk into cheese, and from there Two Rock Valley Goat Cheese was born.
